Q: Neck Sometimes Hurts When I Yawn

Hello

sometimes when I yawn my neck goes swolen and hard under my jaw bone, it hurts a bit and I seem to produce quite a bit of saliva whilst I have the pain, after a few seconds it goes. This doesn't happen all the time, i'm just curious as to what it could be.
