Ok, im sorry to bother you again with my stupid computer, but im really bored and I want to play games on the internet.... Well my computer keeps saying shockwave cant work because my internet explorer is running on low memory, and allocating more memory may help... And it said something about closing windows you arent using... Well the only window I have open is one internet explorer window, and I dont have any other programs open or anything. Do you (or anyone) know how I could get more memory for my internet explorer.... I hate this computer sooo much!!! I just wish I could get a new one! Nothing works!

Look down in the bottom right corner in the gray box and tell me what kinds of icons there are.

What this means is that your computer is too slow to run flash right now. It means you need to find other programs that are running on your computer and close them to free up memory. You can also restart, and that tends to help alot on windows.

Right click on your "my computer" and choose properties and look for something in there that says "resources" and tell me what it says there. It should say a percentage.

You can also buy new memory at the store and physically plug it into your computer to increase your memory.

I forgot to tell ya~ I have a mac.... I cant right click.. Lol only one click. The thing is, I only have one program running, which is internet explorer... I closed "gearbox" to see if that would help at all... It didnt... Lol I even tried making more memory by doing stupid crap like erasing some of my favorites (lol which I figured wouldnt do anything, but I needed to do it anyways, I had like 500 things in there).... The only thing that says that its running (in my thing that I click on that shows me all applications running, so I can open up their windows when I need it) ok the only thing that is running is internet explorer, and finder... I think I need finder running, but im not sure... My computer just sucks a$$. I just need a new one.

Lol yep you do. Deleting favorites won't help, and neither will deleting things off your harddrive. You need to stop programs, and if you don't have any running, you need more memory. You can still upgrade memory with a mac too, you'll just need to pay somebody to do it I guess. There is a slight chance that your memory slots may be full, but that's not likely if you've never upgraded before!

Get somebody you know can build a computer to build one for you. It will be much cheaper than buying one already built. Point them at newegg.Com - they have great prices on computer parts.

Kevin works with a guy that knows how to build computers, but I think this guy is talking out of his @$$ though lol.... Kevins work will buy him a computer and take payments right out of his check for him, since dell wont let him get a computer cuz he has no credit... Otherwise, kevin is thinking about trying again in a couple months, cuz living here at this apartment, and paying some other bills will help get his credit to a more trustable point lol... But yea, we are just gonna go buy a dell sometime, adventually, after the baby is here and we know we can afford everything that we need. Or else im trying to talk my mom into gettin a new computer and then she can just give me her computer (even though thats a peice of crap too, but its better than this one... Minus the fact that only the bottom half of her monitor works... But it wont be hard to get a different monitor). We dont plan on ever spending any money on this computer. We technically got it for free. Lol its an older school computer (not real old though) and kevin got it from one of his old teachers for $50 and his mom wanted to buy it for us so its like ok lol, go right ahead! Well the internet works. Thats the reason why we needed it (for my schooling).
