Hi all.

Thanks to hotasfrick for listing that planned parenthood website for oral contraceptions that can be used for emergency contraception. My ob gyn had told me in my last visit (about three months ago) that this was an acceptable equivalent to an map. However, i've forgotten the exact dosage of taking ortho tri. For some reason 2-3 blue pills taken twice 12 hrs. Apart is heavy in my mind for what is correct.

I have been sick as of late with upset stomach and the uncomfortable consequences of such (vomiting and diarrhea) so when my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex, I was concerned that my pill would not be as effective. This was on saturday night. It is now sunday night and I have taken two blue pills. I will take another two tomorrow... Should I take 3?

Also now that i've taken more than one a day, my schedule is thrown off... Do I throw out the pack and start anew when I get my period next time and start the new pack on the sunday of my next period?

Sorry for the longwinded posting. Just concerned.

Umm, it should say in that website I posted the exact dosage. I know this is late and I apologize.
When I used mine for map, I just took one pill a day until the pack was up. In other words, I just went ahead and finished my pack, went one week off, and then started my new pack the sunday after my period. It seemed like the best idea at the time, and it worked fine for me. Just make sure that you don't use this method all of the time as it is not good for you. I hope you figured out what to do, because this post is late. I am sorry.
