Hey you guys im at home watching a movie so I have to make this quick. Are nose bleeds ok? U went to blow my nose, cuz I had a little cold. So when I did, blood came out, and more blood and more blood. Then it stopped, and I sat down then I felt my nose begin to get runny so I went to blow it again and more blood came out. Is that ok? Its kinda stopped now but I havent gotten a nose bleed since I was a younger teen. I dont know, any thoughts?

I have never had a nose bleed. However, I think it is "okay" to get one every now and then. Your sinuses could be infected or dried out or something like that. I would not worry about it, but if you get one again in the near future you may want to call your doc just to be safe.
Of course, I am not an expert in this so hopefully someone else can help you better!

I know when I blow my nose and it is dry, blood comes out. I think it could just be like sharp buggers (i know, gross) that cut the inside of your nose. This happens b/c you have very small cappilaries (veins) in your nose that burts very easily. This may not make any since, but that is the best way to explain what happens to me!

Actually nose bleeds are a common side affect of pragnancy, and nikkie, you are hitting the stage where they start becoming more common. Your blood valume is higher, and there for nose bleeeds and bleeding gums will become more frequient. I've been luck so far, with no problem from eather.

Hey be careful. Using flonase can cause nose bleeds, so try not to use it if you don't have to.
A little blood could be just from having a cold. I know when my sinuses are acting up I also have a little bit of blood come out when I "blow" but I thought you meant your nose was bleeding a lot. In which case if it happens again, I would call your doc. Probably nothing serious, but at least ask about it.
How are you anyway?
