Grossly Misinterpreted

Are schizophrenics, jesus, & some of the other best people I know ! We hear them say, " turn of the light ! " . And, like the " true colors " of a " judge and jury " that we are we give our grossly uneducated verdict on what we heard in the sound of the tone of their voice or perhaps we tell you in what decibal they spoke ! The hard working nurse out there hasn 't been taught enough psych to fully comprehend the situation ! Please, listen now to the voice of experience ! I am a nurse who used to look at the patient ( schizophrenic ) who was not happy until the covers were pulled up " just so " as being oh so many things passed thru my mind such as " immature ", " demanding ", " demon possessed ", ect instead of questioning myself like a good little nurse . Or, saying, " perhaps there 's more to this psych aspect than I could absorb from a cold fish book ! " . Then, even when my own " flesh and blood " son became ill ... And, for " whoever has ears " I 'll tell you this ... I was in denial for one and one half years . Thinking the same exact things about jeff ( my one and only child ) as I had before these prior patients of mine . Don 't you see ? It would have been easier to deal with a phase or a demon than what true schizophrenia entails . And, that 's pretty normal but shame on our country for not caring about these " pearl barometers " which is my nickname for all of who are diagnosed with schizophrenia !

So your son has a horrible disease. This just in: no one cares about other people. You can't keep going around pointing the finger at people for not caring about schizophrenic or anyone else with a disorder. I have bi polar disorder- once in a manic episode I drained my parents bank acount and ran a way for a month... Do you think that any of my friends thought the same about me? No, but I learned to help myself and to help those around me... Because the world is hard and cruel and this is the way it is supposed to be, so shove your pretty cushioned idealology up your butt and start thinking realistically.
