I have this really weird problem with my throat. If I could describe the actual feeling it sounds kind of strange, it feels like it is has fibers or cotton in it and I can't get it to go away, it also makes my chest feel heavy. But other than being uncomfortable it is not painful. Is anyone familiar with these weird symptoms? Question

It does sound pretty damn weird, haha, but believme i;ve had alot of throat problems, that sound just as frigg'd up...Turns out mine were all due to allergies, the dctors finally figured this out - 6 years later-after I suggested this was the cause, and I haven't had any problems since. Tell your doctor you symptoms- and don't leave out anything,- even take notes of how you feel day to day, so you can present them with a detailed description, and be persistent, I personally think it may just be allergies....

Lord, if you are uncomfortable and this bothers you then go see a docter.

Some people &/or countries don't haveready access to free or covered health care or they live tooo far away to just go see a dr - some people are scared so want soem advice before going to help them face or avoid if they can find a simple answer.

I do think that this could be an allergic reaction though & remember that allergies can develop at any age.

If that was a problem then it would have been stated. Dont bring up a problem when it wasent in the original posts. There was nothing stated about trouble of seeing a docter so there is no point for you to describe that there is.

You have alot of good info, thats fabulous- good for you, and I agree with you on things, as well as other people- but pleassee can you stop with the frickn copy and paste quote crap? Her comment was right above yours- and if you need to talk to someone directly and comment about it- guess what? There is a subject heading- for example, how you know this is to you right now

Why do you care so much. A qoute button is used to talk to an individual as a regular posts is for everyone. Lord, relax. If I feel the need for a quote button then I will do so. Now that I know you feel irritated about this I will try and remember to stop. However dont go off if I do use a quote button. The qoute is there for a reason.

Not Everything Is Always Stated!!

Dear tiny eric,

some people do not have verbal diarrhoea Twisted Evil , some are embarrassed to say that they lack funds for medical care Embarassed , some are loathe to explain any number of things including distance or difficulty getting to a dr(due say to a disability Rolling Eyes ) or shyness or even fear re seeing a dr Crying
or Very sad , that is why some people come here - as I said previously (in part) although I tried to avoid verbal diarrhoea as most people who come here to give help actually understand these things without having to have them explained in triplicate Rolling Eyes - not that I think for a second that you will a) read, Exclamation b) comprehend Exclamation c) take note Exclamation or d) fail to put all or some of this in quotes if only to waste space!! Idea

instead of attacking people who try to help (even though some of us have different or alternative views to your own) & wasting space how about helping those who ask for it Idea Question

I did simply state what I felt what should be done. For gods sake stop crying so much about I keep attacking you so much. Relax its a debat forum, stop taking everything so personally.
Oh yeah and what is the point in saying tiny eric. Does saying that make you try to feel supiour. Guess what, it shows your immaturaty and lack of intelligence. I am far from small, and give fitness advice that works. This not related to fitness. Good try.

No, this isn't a debate forum. You (eric) need to stop insulting people and being ignorant. If you want to debate then go to a debate forum and leave the rest of us alone.
Just because someone didn't state right in the description that going to a doctor is a problem doesn't mean that it isn't. If everyone gave every stinking little detail of their problem we would have books to read before responding.

Back to the original topic. It could be an allergic reaction to something or it could be anxiety. It sounds crazy, but a common symptom of anxiety is throat discomfort, tightness and excess amounts of phlem.(sp?)

Way to think outside the box purple. I stated what I thought would be done. In a forum there are bound to be debates. Thats what makes a good forum. Stop taking everythig to heart and feel its a hurtful "attack". Relax a little people.

This is a health forum, honey, not a debate forum. The only debate forum within ehealth is the abortion debate forum. Otherwise, this is a place to come and get medical advice from people who have experienced similar problems. This is not a place for people to come and be told by people who have no idea how to help them to, "go to the doctor". Yes, maybe they do need to go to the doctor, and maybe they are waiting for an appointment. They probably came here in the meantime to see if anyone could help. So, if you cannot help, then don't post. Plain and simple.
No one here needs to "relax a little" except for you. All of your posts are in one way or another putting someone else down. You can have a good forum without a debate, especially when you have normal users who know what they are talking about.
So, once again, please obey forum rules, stop starting debates and expect people to correct you when you are wrong, but without insulting.

That was what I thought needed to be done. If you all have these therios about this go ahead and post im not stopping you.
People here need to stop taking things so personally. Debates are bound to happen and they should just run its course.

You Two Agreed & So Did I!!!!

Now that is really scary - perhaps we all need some help. I just assumed (not always wise of course!!) that thoat was throat??!!

More agreeing, more allowing for alternative view points (without debate or nastiness) would be delightful!! Thank you one and all!!
