Has anyone experienced anything like this?

Two weeks ago, I woke up fine, ate breakfast. In the afternoon, I ate some canned peaches. Before I finished them, I threw up. I threw up numerous times that night, and ever since, any solid food I try to eat comes up immediately. Even liquids, sometimes.

Every time I swallow any food, it feels like it's sitting in my chest, behind my breastbone, and won't go any further. It sits there until I vomit, usually 5 or 6 times. I have vomited an avg. Of 12 - 15 times per day since this started.

I had an upper gi yesterday and they say I have no kind of obstruction. So, they put me on prilosec, saying that I have acid reflux.

The thing that disturbs me about this diagnosis is, I have no heartburn since this started. I have had heartburn for over 20 years, and now that I can't eat and the heartburn stopped, they tell me i'm suffering from acid reflux.

Anyway, anyone ever had or hear of these symptoms?

Thanks.
