Well right before I stopped taking the depo provera shot I had a period. From the day that I stopped that cycle (and I got off the shot on june 25th)i counted 19 days and started my next cycle on june 28th. About a week and a half after that period I had unprotected sex. I thought I might be pregnant and went to a clinic a little over 1 week after I had sex and the test came out neg. So then I counted 19 days from my last day of my last cycle, being the june 28th cycle,(last day of cycle being july 9th)and I was supposed to start my period last wednesday (july 28th). But I haven't started. I was wondering if I took my first pregnancy test to early and should take another one if I don't start after this week, or am I worring for nothing? I'm so confused, please help.

Okay first of all, don't worry. Worrying only delays your period! You're only 4 days late, theres no need to start worrying yet. Wait it out, you might just have a missed period this month, thats normal. If you're still worried, take a hpt after a week or so. If you did everything with the shot correctly, you're probalby not pregnant.

There's always a chance you could be pregnant since you did have unprotected sex. But because depo generally screws up your period, it's normal to have it delayed or just plain confusing, even after a few months of being off it. I wouldn't worry quite yet. But i'd start using another method of bc soon.

I agree with both the above posts. Your periods will most likely not be normal since you just went off og depo. But if you are not trying to conceive, then you should definately be using condoms.
