Anyway, im 23, male, in good condition. I run almost every day and recently started adding 100 crunches a day to my work out. Over the last few weeks ive noticed the following symptoms which have gotten stronger and more painful as time has passed:

pain in my abdoman, just under the belt line in the left and right hand sides of my abs.

And slight discomfort im my testicles which comes and goes. Fells like someone gave me a bit of a kick in the nuts.

Are the two related? Hernia perhaps? Or am I just getting old? 24 next week. Or maybe the fact im working out more is straining the area? I havent let up on workouts since the pain started.

Ive never had anything wrong with me before so im just worried that things are hurting.

Seeing as I live in england, healthcare is free. But I really dont want to waste the doctors or my own time if its just a muscle strain.

Hey, I am 23 also. I run a lot, playing soccer etc and I have soreness on the right hand side of my abs low down. It hurts when I sit up in bed and stuff like that but fades as the day goes on. It is usually the worst after sport and running and then goes away as the week goes on following sport on saturday. I just guess its muscle strain - im 23 now. Things take their toll... Maybe I should see a doc tho but it costs too much! I live in new zealand.
