My experience: severe hand shaking, acne/rash, mind racing
the drug is known to work very well for many people despite some side effects.
Best of luck Smile

Adjusting to Lamictal
Hi,
i've been on lamictal for 7 years and it has been rather effective for me. When I first started on it, I was put on 50mg/day and increased the dosage by that much every week until I got to 500mg. The main thing I noticed when I began the drug was headaches as my body adjusted. With each increase a headache would come along for a few days but then subside until the next increase. Once I got on the full dose and became used to the drug the headaches went away. Other than that it was fine.

Lamactil
I have been on and since stopped taking lamactil terrible side effects,my doctor increased dosage before I convinced him to take me off it. But, remember not every drug will have the same effect,or side effect, on every person ,if you havent tried it and there are no dangers in your wife using lamactil it wont hurt to see if it helps, if it doesnt ,try something else. Laughing
