Q: Scared..

My boyfriend just told me that he told his grandma that I could be pregnant. She freaked out, and said that if I was pregnant, then she wants me to give the baby up for adoption. Since cody's only 17, he can't move here without her consent. I"m scared that he won't be here until he turns 18 (which won't be until the baby 3 months old). I'm so scared. But I think that if I a pregnant, and his grandma will hopefully change her mind...

Any advice? Or anything? What should I do?

Thanks guys!!

Oh shawna im sorry his grandma reacted that way. Im sure she was just upset and shocked. I think if you are pregnant she would want her grandson to be the best father he could be. She cant stop him from being there for you. Also you can move out of your house when your 16. Are you thinking about adoption at all? Or are you sure you want to keep this baby? Its always something to look into! Keep us posted darling.

I am not even considering adoption...I wont be 16 until about a month before the baby would be born. I would want him to be here thru my pregnancy, birth and for the baby everyday. I just hope she changes her mind! Thanks for the help "darling"

When you find out your pregnant you might want to set up a "family meeting" with his family and yours so that you can all discuss what's going to be going on and how you are going to go through this pregnancy. It will be a bit awkard but I think it would help everyone, and give people a chance to say what they want.

It's not really possible to set up a family meeting, he lives 2500 miles away. So thats kinda hard. The best I can do is talk to his grandma over the phone. Thanks for the advice. Love yas!
