Does anyone know someone who has a condition called blepharospasm? It is a condition in which the nerves in your brain causes one's eyelids to droop. A friend of mine has had it for a couple of years and cannot even drive anymore. She's growing depressed b/c she can't do the things she once did. She receives botox injections but they don't seem to help. Does anyone know of any alternatives? Or any advice? Thank you.

Dear darcy,

some links below for you to look at, the first link describing what blepharospasm actually is, what it's causes are and also treatment options, the second link is a forum on blepharospasm where you may be able to get in touch with others suffering from the condition. Hope that helps.

Regards,
