Everyone is different.I was never a big woman,but every woman wants to be little.I wanted to lose weight quickly to "show" my now ex-husband I can look good,and to show myself I can do it! (to put me down,he used to call me horrible names)i don't really like exercising but I started the slim-fast diet back in 2000.I drank 1-8oz.Glass of sf in the morning,and 1-8oz.Glass in the afternoon and 1 meal at dinner.I stopped eating bread,potatoes,and all sweets,except for 3-4 cups of coffee all day...Hey,i'm not a saint:) do you believe I lost 25 pounds in1 1/2 months?When I went out one night I bumped into my ex-husband and he said,"what are ya trying to do,kill me". I was all decked out,dressed in black,my hair and nails done.So..... My method is slim-fast...And water throughout the day.I still keep my weight down.It also has alot to do with will power.I don't want to look like "slim jim" but I don't feel comfortable being big.Water gets ya moving also. I use the powder sf.It's cheaper.I fill my empty bottle of 12oz oj to the middle with milk and a scoop of vanilla,strawberry,or chocolate powder sf,shake it up,and there is my breakfast and lunch.(i will snack on crackers in the afternoon to suppress my appetite).I do not eat dinner after 7or 8pm.Have a nice day...Smile:)
