Hi....Does anyone know of a good Dr. That specializes in lupus in the houston or surrounding area? My Dr. That I was using quit taking my insurance and I just visited a Dr. In the other direction (i live in lufkin)who was the biggest joke since two years ago before I found a good Dr.! He "felt" of me and told me there was nothing wrong with me after he told me that he did nothing with lupus except the arhritis part and that I didn't haven arthritis, either. He was full of bull! Evil or Very Mad oh well....We have all been to those. I didn't go to him for a second opinion. In fact, before I made the appt., I specifically asked his people if he specialized in lupus....Duhhhhh.

I would appreciate it if I could get some feedback if anyone knows of anyone. I called the Dr. Back I did use as I now have medicare also - but even with that, they don't file on it for you. You have to pay up front and file the medicare yourself - which sort of irritates me (as it did when they decided they didn't want to take my ins. Any longer - but I did like the Dr.).

Thanks so much!

Linda
