I had my back tooth removed this morning. The side of my face my lips and one side of my chin were frozen. It was done at around 10:30. It is now 3:30 and the side of my face is basiclaly unfrozen but the lips and side of chin are still frozen. Is that normal?

Thanks Smile

Hey there! You were probably given a long lasting anesthetic. It can last up to 12 hours. If you are still numb in the morning, call your dentist first thing!Good luck to you.Patty
