That is one of the side effects of seasonale. It's considered breakthrough bleeding and could last awhile. Side effects are usually calmer after 6 months. That's one of the reasons I never wanted to go on seasonale. After having a period for 6 weeks on depo I was scarred for life.

Yeah, i'm currently on ortho tri cyclen lo now. Also, one of my friends is and she loves it as well. The first month I still had some very light bleeding around the 3rd week but so far the second month has been heaven. It does has a very low occurence of breakthrough bleeding. I can't remember the last time I went without bleeding this long.
