Why, for having an opinion? Those are great standards to have to decide wether people are moronic or not! Great job~

That's not opinion, that's a false analogy.

For it to be a quote, you sort of need to say who said it first that you are quoting, anyway. Otherwise it's like when you make little tick motions in the air when you are talking, just to say you are not taking responsibility for the words you are using.

A quote is like, mae west said, "when i'm good i'm very good, but when i'm bad i'm better!"

Well i'm not sure who said it, but i'd be damn proud if I made it up myself! It makes perfect sense!! And jesse, I believe I am grown up just based upon the fact that if I were faced with an unplanned pregnancy, I would live up to my responisbilities! Abortion is wrong!!

If you think it's wrong bella then why have you said that you'd have one in the teen pregnancy forum & also blatantly tell some of the girls that it's something you'd consider?
You are too young to be haven't sex anways!!

isn't that like an oxymoron saying that in a posted comment? Lol, although I do agree this is dumb, that quote is not much of a quote, I don't like it at all and i'm against most abortions.

These Are Quotes
If the anti-abortion movement took a tenth of the energy they put into noisy theatrics and devoted it to improving the lives of children who have been born into lives of poverty, violence, and neglect, they could make a world shine. ~michael jay tucker

against abortion? Don't have one. ~author unknown

i've noticed that everybody that is for abortion has already been born. ~ronald reagan, quoted in new york times, 22 september 1980

society does not need more children; but it does need more loved children. Quite literally, we cannot afford unloved children - but we pay heavily for them every day. There should not be the slightest communal concern when a woman elects to destroy the life of her thousandth-of-an-ounce embryo. But all society should rise up in alarm when it hears that a baby that is not wanted is about to be born. ~garrett hardin

of course abortion isn't right. But it is even less right to bring unwanted children into lifelong suffering and to strip women of their choice. Making abortion illegal is not the way to prevent it. There is a much larger picture that starts with much deeper roots. ~anonymous

if men could get pregnant, abortion would be a sacrament. ~florynce r. Kennedy, 1973

with humans it's abortion, but with chickens it's an omelet. ~author unknown

abolition of a woman's right to abortion, when and if she wants it, amounts to compulsory maternity: a form of rape by the state. ~edward abbey

seventy-seven percent of anti-abortion leaders are men. 100% of them will never be pregnant. ~planned parenthood advertisement

the states are not free, under the guise of protecting maternal health or potential life, to intimidate women into continuing pregnancies. ~justice harry a. Blackmun, roe v. Wade, 22 january 1973

Sparklypixie12, i'd like to know why you think you can decide how old someone needs to be before having sex. Bella was trying to make a point for her view on abortion and you turned it into a cheapshot about her age. You say you believe in abortion, which would be the woman's right to choose what happens to her body, correct? So doesn't it then make you a hypocrite to say that a woman doesn't have the right to choose how old she is when she loses her virginity? I'm sorry, but if women can't be trusted to know when they are old enough to have sex, they definitely can't be trusted to know if they should have an abortion or not.

Sweet. Much better that billions more of your tax dollars go to supporting the children of crack-addict teenage mothers.

Okay poopoopoo, not all teenage mothers are crack-addicts. And the ones that are generally lose the babies before birth. Besides, who says teenagers are the only ones that rely on welfare? There are planty of "adults" who do not have the financial means to care for their children, and yet no one ever mentions them.

I am happy to mention them, and to say that as a taxpayer I fully support their right to have an abortion instead of burdening me.

First of all, don't tell gaby she's too young. If she wants to have sex, let her have sex. Her body, her decision, deal with it. ( loove you gaby ;d)

and about the qoute. Sad but true. Your own child. But there are always reasons that lead to abortion such as health hazards or rape. Everything happens for a reason. The reason may be immature like being to young to take care of a child. Now if you think you're too young, use a condom. Why are you having unprotected sex, knowing the chances of getting pregnant, and then aborting your child afterwards? Now that is just being plain stupid.
