Sutures Used In a Hysterectomy
The sutures for the layers of a hysterectomy are used by doctor prefence but I can tell you a generally what is used.
The facia is closed with an 0-vicryl or 1-pds
the sub-q fat is sometimes closed with 3-0 vicryl
and the skin is either stapled or closed with 4-0 vicryl or monocryl

if you need more info please ask about specific layers or structures
