Hello all, I recently started yasmin, I skipped the placebo pills in my last pack of mircette and went straight to the active ones in yasmin. Now I am just beginning my last week of active pills and my period has started. Has this happened to anyone? If so how long will this last? This is my last pack of pills, and i've got to get to the dr! Thanks in advance for any replies.

I am on yasmin and the first month I took it my period started the friday before I was to start the placebos (which would have been on sunday). I think the next month my period started the first day I took the placebos and since then it starts tuesdays now like clockwork. If this is your first month on yasmin your body is probably just adjusting to the new pills. Give it a couple more months and see if things regulate a bit better.

You could have started early since you skipped your placebos of your old pill and went straight to active on your new one. That has happened to me too. But, like floridagirl said, your body just has to get used to this new pill. It should be fine in a couple of months.
