Q: Want to Go On Birth Control

What type of birth control is the cheapest...And most dependable? I am a 21 yr old mother of 3, and don't want anymore children. I had my 1st at 17 2nd at 18 and 3rd at 19. It is expensive raising them and I don't want to deprive them of anything just to get birth control, and have fun. I need something that's not going to put a dent in my pocket.

Any advice...I'd appreciate it.

Thanks,

jennifer Confused

Hey I replied to a post to you in the pregnancy forum asking if you wanted any more kids!Hahaha I guess not huh!

Well, what I find to be great is the patch. I have it on right now. I have insurance so its costing $35 a month for 3 patches. (4th week is your period) and you chage it weekly so I like that. I dont think 35 is bad though.

The shot is every 3 months. Well my sister takes it every 3 moths. So she has no worries about missing anything only her period. Because it doesnt bring them. Im not sure of the cost, you should ask your gyno. Plus you gain weight.

Or there is a different kind, like a t (capital) I cant remember what its called, but I can get it from a magazine and type it for you monday if you want. They insert it, and its yearly and you dont have to move it or anything and it works good. But its more for women who have kids so I couldnt get it. Im not sure of the price either. It depends on your insurance and clinic and stuff. So look into it with them!

Good luck!

Cheap Birth Control
If you have a local clinic in your area, you should be able to get some for very inexpensive to nothing. I used to go to planned parent hood, when I was unemployed they never charged me. I think if you say you are employed then they have a low charge, but if you are very low on money and need the birth control, which it sounds like, then you might just want to tell a little white lie and say that you are unemployed. Good luck!

Free Birth Control
I am on birth control, I work, and I have a son. If you fill out the papers at family planning, or planned parenthood, they will give it to you for free when you tell them you're supporting 3 kids already! You should get it for free, or at least you would if you lived where I do :d
