Sounds Like a Great Idea
I've recently lost 68 pounds and am still going. I switched gears and started this program I read about in first magazine and it's tough, but it really works. I just joined so i'll check in on your progress every now and again. Hope you see results soon!

Hi I would love to keep in touch and chat about our efforts to loose weight. I am about 30lbs over weight and have been on every diet in the book. There is really no one that I can share my thought with because everyone around me is so skinny and look great. When I say something to my husband all he tells me is to stop eating. Please if you know of something that works let me know. And know that I am there for you if you need someone to talk to. Negra

Sounds like a great idea. I'm 5'2" and weigh 148 #. So I need to lose 25-30 #. I had gastric bypass in 1997, I weighed about 225. But 148 is were I been for a year. I eat terrible. I can't eat much at once, but if theres a bag of snicker bars around, I eat them all in a few days, even though they make me sick. I need more protein for sure, my health is suffering from eating this way and I just can't stop ! I am not very active either.I need all the help and support I can get !! So whats a good plan ?

I sincerely hope since this is an eating disorder forum that you all are motivating yourself to lose weight in a healthy manner. If so then good luck.

I would also be very interested in this. I have no motivation whatsoever, and the more depressed I get, the more I eat and the less I want to excercise. Plus, I just quit smoking two weeks ago, and drinking. So, right now, I am all messed up. I gained 32 pounds over the last year, from the beer and laziness, and losing it is going to be hard, so I can use all the help I can get!!

5'1"
142

not good

p.S
to darling, I can only speak for myself, but I am going to do this a healthy way, and I am pretty sure all of the other girls are too. There isn't a weight loss forum, and this was the closest place where we could put this. Thank you for your concern, god bless.

Ah your right there is no weight loss forum. I was just concerned (having an eating disorder myself). I wish you all the best of luck!

Atkins
Saturn all I have to say is "atkins atkins atkins" it really works. You don't even have to be crazy about no carbs. Just eliminate "bread, pasta, potatoes and sugar" for 2 to 3 weeks and you will feel and see a dramatic difference its worked for my whole family and its gonna work for you too! Wink

Kathyboo, I hear that works, but I cant. I am hypoglycemic and when I do not eat carbs I get really sick. Otherwise, I would love to. That works for so many people and it really sucks that I cant do it. I have tried and it is a very bad situation. But thanks so much for the advice.
