Q: Hiccups
asked by: Forum Girl on July 26th, 2004

I have a weird problem. Every day, several times a day I get hiccups. Its always two hiccups and then it stops. But it happens every day, maybe 3 or 4 times a day, and has for over a year now. While I don't think it warrants a trip to the doctor I am curious as to why it does this. Anyone have any ideas?

Ok first off, don't be an @ss. No I am not fat. I'm 5'7" and weigh 125lbs. And eating fast or more does not give you hiccups. Don't waste my time (or other people searching for solutions) with phoney answers. Get a hobby and be more productive with your time.

Hey,there!I also get hiccups alot.I can't say that its related to eating.Sometimes, out of the blue,i get them.I often can't get rid of them. The only thing that works for me is to have someone plug my ears and to drink a full glass of water without a break.Sounds weird,i know, but this is the only thing that truly works for me.I have even figured a way to do it myself if no one is around to help me.This is more embarassing than anything else,so I have never mentioned it to my doc.You are not alone!Patty
