Birth control can only be effective when taken properly, and this means taking each active pill at the same time everyday! You need not take the "reminder" pills, but you must start your new pack 7 days after you've ended the active pills, so taking the reminder pills can help. I don't know what to tell you, there is a possibility that you could be pregnant. I suggest you look into emergency contraception if it's not too late.
