Q: Unusual Tight Foreskin...
asked by: stevenjames on July 26th, 2004

Hi, my name is steven and im 22 years old. Well, I have tight foreskin since I was a kid till now. Suprisingly I got no problem with it. There's no itch, swell or what-so-ever. Passing water with no problem even though the opening is small. I usually dip my penis in warm water when taking my bath.

Well, i've been going through the internet for treatment if necessary. Found a couple of articles, and some said that phimosis (tight foreskin) may lead to cancer. Man, is this true? Coz it got me worried now. Of course I cant really pull back my foresking to see my glans and wash it as well. Even during erection, I dont feel any discomfort, but only my foreskin wont go back. Should I go for the cut or shouldnt i? In terms of stretching my foreskin, im kinda afraid to it coz I may hurt it.

Pls help...

Try "bio-oil" and gently stretch the skin a tiny bit each day (preferably do this several times a day) and over the course of a few weeks/months you should notice it is getting easier to pull back a bit more each time.

Hello
Hello seven
i will be 20 in a couple of months and I suffer from an identical problem. I too have done a great deal of reading on the subject. In many cases that I have read if the foreskin has been tight for as long as you can remember this indicates that development may not have yet finished. I know this sounds strange and may seem out of the question. I understand that waiting may not be an option any longer as you would like to have the problem resolved. Remember that radial circumcision is gradually becoming an outdated and unneccesary procedure which can be traumatic and lead to desensitisation. Obviously you must draw your own decision. I am aware of alternative treatments, such as the use of topical steroid cream, however I think this is related to phimosis due to a condition known as bxo and may not be relevant to your particular circumstances. I hope this has been of help to you. Any input from yourself would be welcome. Try this website for some relevant and helpfull information

Hi
Hi People!
my name is, coincidently, also stephen. I'm only 14 and havn't fully developed but nearly i think. within the last 6 months i have realized that i have this problem. i hadn't realized that this was a problem because i could materbate fine but then hearing one of my friends talk about sex related stuff i realized that maybe i should be able to retract it. so this lead me to check out this problem on the internet and have found out pretty much what has been said already although saying that i didn't realize you had to wash the inside until today. i am seriously scared to tell anyone about this except people i don't know on the internet so basically i need some advise on it. e.g how to i make it 'untight', when and how without people finding out.

thanks allot

Hi Stephen,

It's been a while since my original reply on here. The best advice I can give you is go to and see your doctor (you dont need to let anyone know you are going). Shortly after my post above I plucked up the courage to go and it was definitely the right decision. All that it entailed was me explaining to the doc what the problem was and literally a quick 10 second examination. Depending on how tight it is the cure may be different, however my doctor suggested circumcision. This may sound terrifying but I assure you it was not as bad as you would think and it was definitely the right thing to do for me. If I could have had it done when I was your age I would have.

I would however speak to a family member (older brother, father etc) as this is what I did and it helped A LOT.

I know this was possibly not the quick fix you were looking for but I have not had a single regret since.

Best of luck

Also i have tried to streth the foreskin over a period of time to no result

curing phimosis
A friend of mine had this problem and told me how he cured it in his late teens.

Are you aware of the tribes that stretch their lips or earlobes with weights? Well this technique does not involve weights you'll be glad to hear but it does involve stretching. The common DIY technique that men use to solve this problem is by trying to repeatedly pull their foreskin back and over their, well, helmet, but this can cause further irritation, damage and even worsen the problem. My friend was advised by his Doctor to try the following:

Get some glass marbles (obviously without any chips or cracks..very important.!) of various sizes. Wash your chosen marble size, then sterilize it using TCP or a similar solution. Then using Bio oil or even olive oil, massage the foreskin inside and out, place the marble on the opening of your urethra and roll the foreskin as far as you can up and over the marble and hold it for about a minute while gently massaging the skin that now covers the marble. It's a good idea to get the marble as warm as is comfortable. Repeat this each day and do not do it if it hurts, if it does, use a smaller marble, you should feel only a light stretching sensation. The marble will gradually stretch the skin and importantly, into the correct shape. Finally, keep your foreskin 'oiled up' periodically throughout the day while you are doing this treatment and never overstretch it when you are. It 'must' be a gradual process

My friend did this for about 3 or 4 weeks ( i seem to remember) and he increased the marble size as he went. He's never had phimosis since

Don't get it cut off! Their are thousands of nerve endings in the foreskin that increase sexual pleasure, and I'm sure you don't want to loose those

Hope this helps...

hello guys
I just recently found out about this phimosis and didnt think it was a problem til i had sex for the first time. It pulled the foreskin all the way back and reveal the head and now its super sensitive and when i shower it ticklish. Also I'm afraid to get a erection cause it hurts, it seems like the tight foreskin is choking the bottom of the head. What should i do?
