Hey girls! I miss you! I feel like I havent been able to talk much at all~ garret sure keeps me busy!!! How have all of you been ?? Any updates on anyone? And what about you shauna? Any signs yet? It will be any day now! Anyways just want to say hi to everyone and that im thinkin of u even tho im too busy to get on here too much!

K and my question~~ as some of u know, I tried breastfeeding the first 5 days, now I am doing bottle feeding.. Anyhow, one of my boobs is starting to feel normal and it doesnt hurt or feel full anymore, they both have definitly gotten smaller again.. But the other one, the nipple kills still and when I feel it, its all hard underneath it and right around the nipple and u can tell there is a bump and its also all red around it. Could this be what they call a clogged milk-duct? It hurts so much I cant even touch it and putting my bra on etc hurts too. What do ya think? I wonder if theres anything I can do for it. Thanks!! By the way I took some pics of me and garret so you can see him and also see my after-pregnancy-self. I will try and post them tonite if I have time which I should once my parents get home*

Hmmm, whens the next time u see ur doc?? Id just call someone and ask them... It could be a clogged milk duct or it could be really raw. Try that cream that also makes cocoa butter, its made to help soothe nipples from breastfeeding.. I cant remember what its called tho Confused

As for me, I lost my mucus plug 2 days ago, been gettin contractions on and off and sometimes think im in labour... But it ends up being not! Lol! If u read my other post, I kinda dont wanan labour right now cuz the person who gives the epidural is out of town.. Ahh lol! But I see my doc on tues and ill talk to her about that Smile

hope everythings good with u and garrett! Cant wait to see pics soon! Have u been able to go out with him yet? Like, to the store or anything? Is he on a feeding schedule/sleeping schedule now? Take care hun!!!! We miss u!

Thanks alot girls!!! I will ask the doc about the boob thing, its just that under the nipple its hard and a big bump thing so I think its a clogged milk duct or somethin so I want to see if theres something I can do because it kills!
Anyhow,

shauna if u lost ur mucus plug it should be very soon!! I hope u can wait tho so u can get that epidural! They told me I coudnt get one at first because I had a high white blood cell count but thankfully my doc argued.. It was a life-savor!!! Its unbelievable how much of a difference it makes so hopefully u'll get one! Got anymore belly pics? Anyhow cant wait till u have ur little one too! Such a handful.. More so then I thought.. But sooooo worth it Smile

Ohh I cant wait to see more pics! I havent taken any more belly pics recently (due to my ever growing stretchmarks ahh lol!) has ur stomach gone back to normal? Have u lost all the weight?
I hope I pop soon but I want to find out about that epidural thing! Lol! Take care and cant wait to see some pics! I was reading about a clogged milk duct too the other day but I cant remember what it said. Something about warm water I think to soothe it (like one of those hot water pad thingys.. Cant remember what they're called haha) take care!

My nipples hurt like taht when I quit too..Mine went away but if urs dont call the Dr. They arent really tight and red are they? Ur whole boob I mean..Cuz thats a sign of mastitis(sp?)

There is a thing called lactational breast abscess (lactional mastitis) and that sounds exactly like what you have...Talk to me later and I can give you more stuff about it! Sorry you are having to deal with all this!

Certianly sounds like mastisis.. (sp?) you definatly need to call doc and gets some antibiotics! I hope it feels better soon!
