Hi everyone, I have been taking seasonale for a month and a half now, felt fine until I was suppose to get my period, I got really bad pms and cramps. Then I stated spotting and it went to light bleed then this been going on for 3 weeks I still get little cramps but not as bad as when it first happen. I ask a doctor about this she said it going to last for about 6 months. I not sure if I should give up on the pills or go see another doctor about this, it said it the pamphlet this should not last for more then 7 days. I am really disoriented cause I hate having my period, and there is no other way to stop, no doctor would give me hysterectomy, and that how much hate having my period. Any advice

Problems W/seasonale
I've been on seasonale for about 2 months now and when it nears the time that I would normally have my period, pms kicks my butt! I'm not sure I like the way I feel on this pill at all. I just don't feel like myself. Currently, i'm really tired, my back hurts, my stomach hurts, i'm having headaches, and my appetite is usually from one extreme to the other. I think I may have to give up on this pill. I don't think I can tough it out another 3 months to see if it gets better Embarassed

Former Seasonal User
I was on seasonal for about 6 months. I had pms real bad but I didn't have any breakthrough bleeding. I went off because i'm going to try for a baby in a few months. My twin sister is also taking seasonale. She has had alot of breakthrough bleeding but she doesn't take the pill like I did. I would take them at the same time each day always at 10 am. My sister has forgotten a couple of them and takes them when ever she remembers to take it. Do you take yours at the same time each day and have you missed any??

Re: Former Seasonale User
I do take the pill at the same time each day. It may be an hour or two later on saturdays than other days, but other than that, there is not much variance.
