If your period was due and you missed it, call your Dr. Immediately. They gave you fertility drugs and injections, they will want to monitor you. They can also find out with a blood test if you are actually pregnant. Though they rarely perform them anymore. Most preganancy tests at the doctor's office are strong enough to detect very early amounts of hcg, but the correct amounts for pregnancy and not fertility drugs is questionable). I suppose a tell-tale sign of a true pregnancy now would be the period cramps that may come with no period following them!
The drugs you received will produce a false positive. Ask your doctor when the correct date to test (when the drugs have left your system) is. It varies depending on the amounts you were given. Don't lose hope though, there may very well have been larger amounts in your system from being pregnant, possibly why the test came out so clearly positive so quickly!
Good luck, let us know!!
If you are not pregnant, don't fret. Drugs never helped me conceive, even after 2 years of trying (me, not you, we are all different). Eventually I just gave up. I have 3 children now, conceived naturally!! Life is strange sometimes!! :d
