Hormone imbalance...

I don't need birth control but I do need help with my hormones as my monthly lasts 12 days and 2 days after it's over the whole cycle begins again with pms. I have not had luck with the pill in the past so I thought I would give the patch a try. I have had about 4 people around my age rave about it.
It seems the majority of the people on this site don't have good things to say about it.
Anybody have any info they can pass on to me?
Thanks!

Balancing Hormones In Perimenopause
I've been using a hormone balancing cream for about a year and a half that controls my periods wonderfully. I had been having one every two-three weeks and it was just draining my energy, not to mention being terribly inconvenient. The cream is called phytoprolief and comes from arbonne international. There are other creams out there. I just ordered a new one and will alternate between the two so my system doesn't get too "accustomed" to the dosage. Extra calcium can help with pms. I haven't had any difficulty with pms since my first pregnancy in 1983, so I can't help much with pms issues. Whether the cream helps with pms, I can't say since I don't experience it.
