Teen Pregnancy Forum - Baby Showers

Hey,

here in the uk we dont through baby showers. Even though I know what they are will someone explain them to me? Do you play games and that? I would have any excuse for a party.

Also can I ask for an ipod hee hee? Jk

Hey

I would want one no matter where I lived. It's where you invite over all your friends and family (usually just females) and you play games and such like.... Guess the baby's weight or little games. You have cake and food usually and open gifts! It's just a little "party" to get gifts and such. Usually a friend or someone plans the shower for you.

Haha as for the ipod thing.. Mostly the gifts you get at baby showers are gifts for the baby :p good try though!!

Yeah but you know since we dont have baby showers here I could kinda say mum and baby shower. I need to listen to chill out music?

Lol suzi! I have told people that we don't do baby showers in the uk & I think they thought I was crazy! If you watch sex & the city there's an episode where they throw miranda one-lots of ladies sitting around, giving you presents...Sounds nice!
