I had braces for two years...It didnt hurt me at all when they put it on but then it only hurt a little after coz ur teeth r getting used to it...Anyways...It kinda depends..Sum ppl it did hurt alot but i've never met n e one that was in extreme pain...Yeah and u might have to eat soft foods for a few days coz it does hurt if u try chewing on sumthing hard...Only for a few dyas...You get used to it...Like 3-4 days...Maybe even less...Relax...Its worth it...And its not extreme pain...Relax..
