Q: Discount Medical Programs

Greetings, all!

I was wondering -- my husband and I are moving down south from new jersey -- we have, sporadically, gone without health insurance and, though we have a plan now (it's not very good!) -- we will have no insurance after we move -- I have been doing some research into discount medical programs, and wonder if there is anyone who can recommend one that, if not good, is at least usable....

Thanks!!!

A lot of these are just discounts, not insurance, as you said, some are o.K. And better than nothing, beware and read between the lines, I know, I got sucked into them before. You should be able to find something on the internet, until you get settled.
Sincerely,
sandy

Discount Plans
Are a blueprint for bankruptcy and financial ruin. The discounts are useless if you lack the funds to pay. Even worse, some of the plans have no ties whatsoever to ppo networks.

Almost every plan you will find is overpriced.

If you insist on having a plan, pay no more than $20/month for outpatient & inpatient discounts.

Just curious . . . I live in the south so I dont understand your post. You say you are moving here and will be without health insurance. Many carriers to choose from in every state. It isnt illegal to have insurance, so why does moving south keep you from getting insurance?
