Is there are link between bacterial vaginosis and acne? I was recently diagnosed with bacterial vaginosis. Since my diagnosis, my boyfriend develops severe acne on the right side of his face whenever we are intimate. His doctor determined that he had adult acne, and prescribe topical metronidazole. I was prescribed metronidazole gel to treat my case of bacterial vaginosis. We do not engage in oral sex and we also use condoms, so is it possible that my bacterial vaginosis is causing his acne?

Likely but not necessarily the case - 1. Ask your drs 2. Go to a search engine like google or yahoo & ask are "bacterial vaginosis and acne" linked or can bacterial vaginosis cause acne or is bacterial vaginosis contagious & can it cause acne.
