I've tested ra positive for almost 30 years and had a positive ana and high crp levels for the past 10 years. I've gone to many internists and rheumatologists in my home town, wichita, kansas and a little over a year ago was sent to washington hospital in st. Louis to see a specialist there. To make a long story short no one seems to know what I have. They don't think it's ra or lupus....But they haven't ruled them out. Whatever it is they think it includes chronic fatigue syndrome among other things, but they don't think that's what's causing all the symptoms or the test results.
The doctors here have decided it's time to call in the big guns. The initial choice was mayo clinic in rochester, but they've also mentioned the cleveland clinic. Does anyone have a recommendation on where I might find the best doctors and facilities to determine a diagnosis and treatment for a disease that's been kicking up it's heels for a long, long time??
