Hi,

i am on lamictal medication for the past 3.5 years and have not had any problems with it. I take 200mg twice a day. Even my lamictal level in the liver is normal and as of now my seizures are under control (thank god!!)

it is also said that though lamictal is a new drug, it has not yet had any problems with the drug.

I am currently researching about lamictal effects on pregnancy. I am planning on one sometime down the road but am afraid to do so, thinking about the side effects. Many of them have told me that it has not caused any pregnancy related problems but I guess I am just being paranoid.

Lamictal And Pregnancy
I am on lamictal and had a wonderful pregnancy! I had never felt better in my life! I had the maternal serum test done and found out that the odds of me having a baby with spina bifida or downs was actually lower than the average 26 year old! I delivered a very healthy full term baby girl! I was able to breast feed too and it has been clear that nothing affected her! She is bright and met a lot of her milestones earlier than the average baby! I recommend it for sure! Good luck!
