I always had bumps on my arms which appear to be ingrown hair.Over the years however they have spread to more parts of my body legs, back, and now chest. Is there any way of stopping the progression and is there a treatment that I can do.Also heard a family member had the same condition.

What type of bumps? Are you sure that they actually are ingrown hairs, or do that 'look' like ingrown hairs....

It really dpends on what it is. There are so many rashes and skin reactions as well as ilnesses out there it's hard to tell... Untill you talk w/ a Dr....

Let me ask you this though....(i've has some similar problems) what type of soap, gel or body wash do you use to wash your skin? Do you use an exfoliant? Or do you use a wash cloth to scrub the soap over your body, and if so do you ever see a difrence w/ the bumps?
