Q: About Getting Pregnant

Well my question concerns when the worse time to get pregnant is... I can not remember if u have a better chance of getting pregnant 14 days before or 14 days after your period... Can u please answer this for me thank you!

Its not 14 days before or after its normally mid cycle bc they base it on a 28 day cycle. Mid cycle is when u have the best chance of conceiving but some women have what they call floating ovulation where they ovulate at different times every month.

On a 28 day cycle u ovulate on day 14 (starting counting on the first day of your period) and your egg is viable for 2-3 days only. However if you r not regular or aren't sure,,, there are different methods to see - they have otc ovulation detectors now, and some women even feel a little pain in their lower abdomen (or so they claim) when ovulating...Good luck , whether ur trying to or not trying at all
