Q: Open Sore On My Breast

I have had a sore on my breast since 2000. In 2002 they did an ultrasound to ensure it wasn't cancer. Basically, my doctor seemed to think I should just live with it. About 80% of the time it is accompanied by pain in half my breast. It hurts even when I am not moving.
Anyway, I went off birth control last year and was pregnant and the sore went away as well as the pain. However, since I have started back on the birth control both the sore and pain have returned. The sore seems to start from the inside of my breast and leaves a penny size opening on the outside which eventually scabs over but never seems to go away.
I was wondering if there if anyone knows what else ins in birth control pills other than hormones because I think this is what is causing it. I know the pill tricks your body into thinking it is pregnant..But I didn't have the sore when I was pregnant so it has to be some other ingredient.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

All I know/can suggest is the obvious - I think you should look at your other options besideds the pill for birthcontrol -it's not very healthy for you, in my opinion.
