Okay I am officially lost. First I was told that the closer you are to 100, the closer you are to delivering, then the closer to 0 the closer you are to delivering, now the closer you are to 100, the closer you are to delivering. What is it?

Its closer to 100%! You might be getting effacement and "stations" confused! The station of the baby moves from negative numbers to zero and then to postive numbers. So like -1 station, 0 station, 1 station..... 2 is like crowing or something! Thats just off the top of my head, dont hold me to that!

Effacement is the thinning of the cervix and they use percentage to tell how thin it is. Station is where the babys head is at... Like 2 station would mean the babys head is crowning and 0 station would mean the baby's head is nicely in the pelvis (not sure if I got the numbers exact but oh well).
