to Anyone Taking Adderral Posted: 07-16-04 03:46am
I've had adhd since I was a little kid.
My mom knew this but didn't think
medication was the key. I ended up
getting on stratera which did nothing.
My room mate had adderral so I took 20 mg
of it a few times. Wow. This stuff
helped me out big time. When I came home
I would study for a couple of hours and
not mind, instead of watching tv. My
grades improved as I bummed off of
him(sounds so bad). I told my mom what a
great effect it had on me and she set up
an appointment with a psychiatrist for
tuesday. This lady knows I have taken
adderral in the past without a
prescription but says she'll prescribe me
to it after I come in. What kind of
tests can I expect if any?
Another question I have is: should I tell
her that 20mg is the right dosage? I've
tried 10mg to no avail. Or will she
think i'm just abusing it? I know in my
heart that 20 mg will do nothing but good
and anything less might be a waste. I
want to keep it completely honest with
this woman but how do I come off like i'm
not an adderral fiend just trying to get a
fix?(lol) any ideas would be greatly
appreciated.
