Q: Returning Cyst?

Long story short: went to doc with a bloated tummy 5 weeks ago;told me I was 7mth pregnant, which was a problem cos i'm on the depo injection;so they put me right in to hospital that day to get a scan;no baby but a very large ovarian cyst;operation to remove cyst,and turned out to be two cysts,one 3 litres of fluid and other size of grapefruit;
five weeks on, having hot flushes,getting dizzy when I stand up(blood presure is fine),blurry vision at times and sore right side, can't eat very much at once and tummy is looking bloated again?
Been to the doc 10 times in 5 weeks and they keep saying it's fever!
Anyone got any suggestions, i've never been through surgery before, is this just normal or could there be another cyst growing?

Have they done an ultrasound or x-ray, could it be post-surgical scar tissue, have you sought a second opinion, I would if I did not get any answers soon! Could you be starting menapause early? It could also be post-surgical infection with part of it being the healing process(i am no Dr. Though)!
Sincerely,
sandy

Nope
No they just keep on telling me I have an infection, what I don't know.
I did come out of hospital with infected internal stiches and had antibiotics and they kept giving me antibiotic, i'm off them now. The thing is I feel fine one day and the next i'm like I described as above. I feel as if i'm 'pestering' the docs now, and i'm still awaitng the pathologists results,
is it normal for them to take so long with results?

Don't ever feel like you are pesterin the dr's.! This is their job and this is your body! I don't know where exactly you live but when I got staff infection (post-surgical) they had the results back in about a couple of hours and I came home after three days in the hospital witha antibiotic pump in me and oral antibiotics after they had cut me open again to help release the infection(i am not trying to scare you!) everyone is different though. I do hope you are feeling better soon! Keep in touch! Try not to over-do(i know, easier said than done).
Sincerely,
sandy

Hi it doesn't sound like a returning cyst to me, I know i've had one it does however sound like an infection as you said from the surgery you had recently I would keep pestering my doctor as you put it until he has sorted this out. Keep in touch and let us know how you get on

ovarian cyst
I had an ovarian cyst about 6 year's ago. And if you are feeling the same way you did the first time ,i would found a new doctor and have more test done. I was told i would have died if it was not for my doctor's finding it because i had internal bleeding though out my stomach.It was building up for 6 months.So don't wait any longer because i am still suffering from scar tissue do to surgery.
