Q: Nuvaring

Hey everyone, umm, this is the 3rd month I have been on nuvaring, I am doing everything right, my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex like a day after I put it back in, does nuvaring still work then or could I have just gotten pregnant or what? Im not sure. Someone please help me if you can. Thanks.
