I know that gastric reflux can cause it, it's possible the pain from your stomach can carry up into your chest area

my ulcer also gave me pain in the ribs and in my back. I thought it would never go away, but it takes a long time to heal. I hope your taking some meds and useing an antacid like mylanta or maalox.

Gastritis And Ulcer
Ok does gastritis give you lots of pain and growling in your lungs chest and all over? Thats whats happening to me and pain all the time damm this ulcer and gastritis is making me mad.

it sure does give you pains all over,but getting mad about it is not going to help. Being mad is a form of stress, and stress might have caused the problem in the first place. Take your medicne and be careful not to eat gassy foods. The doctor should have told you what to avoid eating. Try to stay calm, it takes time to heal the ulcer. Once the ulcer is healed the gastritis should start to go away too.
