I know that gastric reflux can cause it,
it's possible the pain from your stomach
can carry up into your chest area

my ulcer also gave me pain
in the ribs and in my back. I thought it
would never go away, but it takes a long
time to heal. I hope your taking some
meds and useing an antacid like mylanta or
maalox.

it sure does
give you pains all over, but getting mad
about it is not going to help. Being mad
is a form of stress, and stress might have
caused the problem in the first place.
Take your medicne and be careful not to
eat gassy foods. The doctor should have
told you what to avoid eating. Try to
stay calm, it takes time to heal the
ulcer. Once the ulcer is healed the
gastritis should start to go away too.
