Growth Spurt - Not Sure Where to Post This! Posted: 07-14-04 16:46pm


Hi I am new here. I will be turning 24 years old tomorrow. I have been 5'4 since the 7th grade. I got a phyiscal done today and I had a growth spurt just this summer - I am now a little over 5'5. Is this normal? To have a growth spurt at this age?? I thought I was done!!! Please if anyone has any info to help - I would appreciate it! Thanks

One of my doctors one time told me that your bones continue to grow until your about 26-28, so while it's not typical, it doesn't sound abnormal either.
