Hey! Rylee takes 3 1/2 oz. About every 3 hours. Sometimes she goes 4 hours but thats usually at night. I would try like 3 oz. At first. She'll let you know if she's still hungry. When do you go back to work?

Well we are trying to decide if I am going back. Brian(alexa dad)wants me to stay at home for awhile and I aint gonna lie I would love to also if we can afford it but if I do go back then it will prolly be the end of the month. But that aint why alexa had to go on formula its b/c she is having alot of gas and I couldnt find anything to help it so the took her off my breast milk.Plus we have to get an ultrasound done of her belly to make sure everything is okay.My sister and brother both had herneias(sp?)when they was babies and the want to make sure she dont have one.
Thanks for the response!

I'm not going back to work until mid-september. Actually we don't even know if i'll go back then. I can't even drive right now so until I can drive i'm not even thinking of going back to work! I can't even imagine having to leave her!Sad what kind of formula are you putting her on?

Jaydyns only 2 1/2 weeks old and her average is three ounces of formula every three hours..Like ang, said sometimes four hours(at night)--if shes sleeping good she may go longer! Lol..The pediatrician told me since shes gaining soo much and shes healthy I dont need to wake her up to feed her..For me just to wait for her even if its like six hours! Lol

At first they had me waking rylee at night b/c she was considered premature (by the tests they do at birth she measured 36 weeks). But now that she's gaining weight really well they said I can just let her make her own schedule. Sometimes at night she does just sleep for a while and I just wait for her to tell me when she is hungry.

Jordan when you took jayden off breast milk and started on formula how did she do? Did she take it good? Or did you have to try different kinds?

I would let her tell you, I would say start out with 4 ounces, every three hours or so.. You can read your baby i'm sure.. So if 4 ounces isn't enough or she doesnt finish the bottle then go with what she goes for
