This is my first cycle on ortho tri cyclen lo and i'm on the green reminder pills. The day I stopped taking active ones I started getting this really light brown sludge and that's all it's been. You think this will continue the rest of the week and is that what it's supposed to look like?

Also, do most of people's periods end the day they take the first active pills again? Or will it take a few days of them to work? Because then i'd have a period longer then 7 days and I can't take that again.

I had similar symptoms too. I started the pill a month ago, and everything was bouncing off the walls.

My period came a week early, and lasted 14 days!! My doctor said this was normal for the first pack of pills, and not to worry about it. Finally, I stopped bleeding, and I just started my second pack of pills 2 days ago.

The brownish sludge is normal too, it happened to me and it lasted a couple of days. Don't worry about it.

If this continues though after ur 3rd pack of pills, you probably need a new medication. Ortho tricyclen lo might be too strong or not strong enough for ur body.
