Q: May Be Pregnant?!?!?

I was taking ortho-tri-cyclen for about 3 years. My boyfriend and I just moved out of the house we were living in and I had all my back up pills in my dresser drawer there. While I was working during the day him and some friends packed up the house. So.... When the day of starting my new pack came along it was no where to be found. I had to wait a couple weeks to get into the obg-yn and he had told me that I should start my new pack after I get my period. He also mentioned that it should come on the same day as usual (every 28 days, always) but now I am 3 weeks late. I've taken 2 pregnancy tests and both came up negative, so I am hesitant to go to the doctor. Is this normal or should I make an appointment asap? Thanks~ sara

Go to the doctor. It may make you irregular too. But you should check with the doc. They know!!! Good luck! Cuz there is also a chance you might be pregnant.

Is This Normal ?
If you normally have regular periods and they are now late then that is not normal, but there could be a few differnt contributing factors. Such as the fact you are probably now worrying that you are pregnant so that will most likely delay your period even more. If your pregnancy test came back negative twice, chances are you are not pregnant, if you are still worried, go see your doctor for confirmation, in the meantime while you are not protected by the pill, use some kind of other protection such as condoms until you know you are covered again.

Take care, be safe.......

Also On Ortho Tri Cycline
Hey....About 2 years ago I was on the same bc. I stopped taking it and my body thought I was pg and I didnt ovulate for 38 weeks. (thats what my doc. Told me) apparently I am very fertile and the smallest sign of no bc pill activates my body to not drop or producec eggs. Although this is not uncommon if you dont take your bc pills. Did you have sex while you were not on them? Or did you just miss your pd bc you didnt take your pill?? I hope this helps you a little...Just take your pill and it should regualte you again!! Laughing
