I just started taking the pill to prevent endometriosis. My last period was a 28 day cycle. I am fifteen and 1/2 years old. I started taking the pill on the first day of my period. I have taken 19 pills and and experienced mild cramps last night. This morning I started bleeding. I have 2 active pills left and then the 7 inactive pills left in my case. Is this my period or is this just the breakthrough bleeding side effect. I do not have any cramping today. Is this normal to start a period this early? If so will it go back on schedule to where I have my period on the green pills. I previously had a yeast infection could that have also effected my schedule. Last night there was small brown clots on my underwear which I had during my yeast infection. (yeast infection was about a week and a half ago) I was just wanting to know if this is bad and if I should seek help. Or if it is normal for this happen when I first began the pill.

Thank you every for your help.

Brittany.

I'm on the same pill and I started having the kind of spotting you're talking about a week before my period was due (the green pills) I think they are supposed to even out after a cycle or two and go to strictly the green pills. I would say not to worry about it, though.
