Im Back And All Moved In!
Posted: 07-13-04 11:16am

Im back! I was starting to have forum withdrawals lol.....We are all moved into the new place now, but we got quite a bit of unpacking to do. My internet just got hooked back up today, so I got lots of catching up to do... Nobody had any babies right? Well today somebody is coming to drop off a new airconditioner for the appt, and I dont "live here" so I gotta keep myself quiet in the bedroom til they get it here and install it... Yea it sucks, but hell, at least I got my computer in here with me! I just cant type to much cuz my keyboard is loud... I have to type slow, and its driving me insane! I will be posting pics of the new place sometime soon... But im not sure when I will be at my moms next, so it might not be for awhile actually...Lol but as soon as I can. Its awesome, I love it! The only thing that sucks is that you have to be soo quiet! I hate appartment buildings!

If you are not on the lease meaning, you don't have to fufill the requirements that he needed, you should be listed as an occupant. B/c they don't have to meet the req's or is it just b/c your are still 17 and don't want them asking questions. Btw don't you guys have a two bedroom? Who do they think is taking up the other bedroom?

Yea im not on the lease and it sucks.... But its cuz im not 18 yet, and also cuz I want to keep the insurance from my stepdad but I only get it if im still living at home with them... Otherwise me and kevin would have to get married for me to be under his insurance, and im not sure if im ready for that. But once the baby is here I aint hiding, im just gonna tell them I want kevin to be deeply involved and I live an hour away, so thats too much gas and a pain in the @$$, so I spend alot of time there.... Lol... But im not even sure if they care how much im here. If I get caught im just gonna tell them that I live far away and dont have my liscense and to get back and forth, I have to live on other peoples schedules, not mine or kevins, so there will be days that im here when kevin is at work lol... They should mind that, right? Im not causing any harm. Lol I decided screw it, im not being quiet no more, and I gotta pee, so im just gonna go... Even though I think somebody is here... I cant tell though... I dont know if its somebody upstairs, or in this appt.

My hubby always got 2 bedrooms before me. He used one as a computer room/office. We've never hid a person, but the last place we were at we had to hide our dog! She is a 60 pound german shepherd, so it wasn't easy!

Newlife~ they know I exsist, and they know im preggy with his baby, but I dont live here since im not 18... We've tried applying places with them knowing I would be there like all the time (still not living there full-time due to the insurance) and they were really iffy about it and stuff... They wanted to do everything very legal, and they didnt know what was legal in this situation... Im just not going to worry about it, I really dont think they mind, they seen me here alot so far since we moved in, its just I dont want to be too obvious during the day when kevins not home....

Erin~ we might have to hide the kitty, cuz we miss her lots and want her here, but we're not sure when we can afford the sec. Dep.... Lol but im sure it will be much easier to hide a 5 lb kitty, that uses a litter box, than a 60lb german sherperd that needs to go outside lol how did you do that???

I would be so scared to hid a dog, and a gs at that! But I see where you're coming from lilmama. I mean you are already moved in, plus if they asked you can just tell them what you said. And on top of that in all states ,an apartment law says that you have the right to quiet enjoyment of you're property. So if they ask kevin why you are always there, they really don't have the right as long as ya'll are'nt making loud a$$ noises, that can be said to be a real distrurbance.

We were far away from the office. We just took her out when nobody else was out. The worst thing they can do if they catch you is make you pay the pet deposit. They never caught us so we never had to pay!

We dont even have an office here... Lol the office is like in greenbay, which is like 30 mins from here (i think)... But the landlord/manager dealys are here alot, and I guess they live right down the road... Its only 3 buildings with 8 appts in each, 4 down stairs, 4 upstairs. My apartment is really nice, lol sorry I didnt explain it earlier, I forgot to... Ok well we got lots- I mean lots- of cubboards space(sp?) and our bedroom is pretty big, our living room is ~huge~ the baby's room is a decent size(its not big like ours, but its not small) we got a big closet in the baby's room, and a ~huge~ closet in ours, its like one of them double ones, with two sets of doors, its like twice the size of the babys closet, we got a pretty big bathroom(compared to the one we had, my god is it huge lol) we have lots of drawers in there for all my femmie stuff so its not sitting out when they come in to fix things... Our kitchen is big, and has a dining area with a big closet for coats and crap... Its nice.... I gotta post pics of the old place, and the new place... Its like stepping up from scum shack, to bachelor luxery.... Lol....

That sounds great. The apartment that jon and I plan on moving to is a two story (townhouse) apartment, it has 1 and 1/2 bathrooms, two bedrooms (the master bed room is 11'2" x 15'5" (12'2" x 15'5" in the end units) , and the baby's room is 9'8" x 14'8"), and of course the bathroom has a dressing area, our closets are like the ones in your room, two indivisual ones with separate doors, and the baby's closet is smaller and a walk in, we'll have like two closets down stairs, furnished kitchen will a nice amount of cabinet space, and a big big living room and dining room.

You should ask to see your actual apartment before you sign a contract and bring a measuring tape and measure it right there.
