An insurance agent do? I came across an agency that is looking for insurance agents, and it said that I could make over 38,500/year..I didn't think that was to bad! Considering they are just taking people off the street to do it. And I know a couple of you on here are into the insurance thing, so I thought I would ask!

I'm an insurance agent. At the beginning you'll probably be a cashier or customer service rep for a couple of weeks while you get licensed. To get licensed, its different in every state, but in al you have to take a 40 hour class about insurance and pass a test administered by the state. Then when you are licensed you'll talk to people, ask the questions about themselves and give them quotes on insurance. For every quote you do, you'll probably sell 25% if you are pretty good and up to 40% if you are .R.E.A.L.L.Y good. You'll probably get commission for every policy you sell. As far as anything else goes, it depends upon the company and type of insurance.
