Okay ladies,
i need some serious advice. I just
switched to a new kind of birth control-
lo ovral- only because my Dr. Recommended
it-from what I used to take which was
ortho tryciclen. Its been about a month
since I started, and my b/f and I have
been very active within that first
month... Now usually we are careful about
this sort of thing because I am in
college- but that particular month we had
just moved in together, well no excuse we
wern't safe. I dont know how safe lo
ovral is, I was told it was a lower dosage
than ortho, so im a little bit nervous.
About 5 days ago I started to spot- and my
boobs are killing me- ive never had them
hurt so bad before...When I started this
lo ovral, my Dr. Wanted me to take it
continuously (which means not have a
period) because he believes I have
endometreosis and not having a period
would help the pains I was having along
time ago.... He also examined my boobs
becuase I told him I had blue veins on
them which wasnt normal and he said they
were still growing which I think is
rediculous because they quit growing a
while ago.... Anyhow, I dont know waht to
do... My last period was probably about
may 1 so I can't tell at all... And I
dont know if I should go buy a test or
not.... Again, I just started
spotting-which I due believe is due to
stress, but my boobs are sooo sore that it
hurts to even wear a braw... Does anyone
have any suggesstions on what I should do
or know anything about lo ovral? Any
advice would be helpful! Jules

I am no Dr., but if I were you, I would
purchase a home pregnancy test! Anytime
you change meds especially b/c your
hormones and body changes.
Good luck!
Sincerely,
sandy

Thanks, I will probably go soon. My b/f
and I are in the process of buying a home
so this is really making it uncomfortable
for me to be having all these issues right
now ( the last thing I need ) but thanks! Jules
